Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code

NDSOS has recently formed a new partnership with Girls Who Code to bring free computer
science learning opportunities to our communities. Girls Who Code Clubs are free after-school
programs for 3rd-5th or 6th-12th grade students. They provide an online curriculum, training
and $300 per club for snacks, etc.

Participants not only learn hard coding skills and computational thinking, but they’ll also learn
project management skills, collaboration, resilience, and how to positively impact their
community. With our new partnerships, all clubs that enroll 3+ more students for the 2019-
2020 school year, will receive an additional $100 to help support in the classroom.

To learn more and apply, visit https://girlswhocode.com/clubs/ or reach out to our North
Dakota contact Key Session at key@girlswhocode.com for more information. Please spread the
word!
